About Kimmel N'Pics

My photo
Springfield, Ohio, United States
Kimmel N'Pics is a play on words for instance if you have heard of Kibbles N' Bits then you know where the name similarities tie in. But I created this site in order to show my skills in the photography field, and to possible allow people to see what is going on through another's eyes. Such as instead of taking a regular portrait of a person just standing there, show a bit of emotion, a slight gesture, or even a different point of view can do wonders. I hope when one views my photography then maybe their eyes can open up and see more of the world around them and see how beautiful things are and how we must cherish them so. Thank you for visiting my site, and welcome to Kimmel N'Pics.

Random Shots :D

Throughout this section there are shots in Marysville, my hometown :] if you want to maybe you can try to distiguish where these shots were taken, :) by the way some of these shots, I have taken with sepia- the brown/tan like tones, or black and white. I enjoy expiermenting on different ways to improve the photo to make it look more appealing for the viewer. ^^ Enjoy.

"Coffee for Two" ;D

I love the traditional light post look due to the fact it isn't a slender beam of metal, it actually has little designs here and there and even though it is a simple curve or wave the highlights, and etc. can do great wonders with a photograph. I like to call this one "Ebony and Ivory" I know it's not technically a piano and it isn't putting emphasis on the keys but I love how the black is with the cold winter background.

Mexican Hat Dance :{D Hola?!

It is a habit of mine if I look for photos to take, and they show something special, like previously which was a blue frog, which a lot of people don't normally notice because their thumb is over it. But in this photo it may look like a bunch of bricks and mud, but if you look at it in more of a creative way it is a heart that is framed by the bricks, I know it's a little silly but it's supposed to be a method I guess, to train the photographer's eye.

"Margerita Glasses"

"Pinata Fiesta"

This was my first time working with computer graphics, in some ways it actually didn't turn out that bad I just wish I could figure it out a little more, because instead of a red, white, and black mix, I really wanted the red and the white and blue to be together like a traditional barbershop pole but it didn't work out as planned, but it still looks nice I think.

I know it's kind of like, "Wha?" but I was kind of try to see what kind of details were in little things that we see everyday. For instance if you look closely you can notice the pineapple, the pineapple was used in Hawaii as a way of welcoming, I learned this from my mom, and I just I was kind of surprised because normally we over look these little details in towns everywhere their history/heritage.

"Frozen In Time"

"Ice"

I was trying different perspectives in this one such as looking up the tree so you could see the excess of snow and how the tree has like a light blue/green cast to it. My goal for this winter is to get a good shot, of a snowflake on water with a macro lense wish me luck :D

This is my pet cat, Fluffy she is kind of a little bashful lol, she doesn't like having her photo taken. :P

"Pines and Needles" :]

It kind of reminds me of a hand grabbing the apple,:\ though I do like how the yellow pops out in comparison to the green and brown- earth tones.

"Simple"

In my class, there are a few students who always poke fun with people just to tease, I always am told this looks like a butt, and not a heart >.> just be prepared that some people may not always like your photography but that doesn't mean you should give up on it either, but just work on developing different photography techniques, and design your own style that you can be proud of.
