Yellow Springs and Glen Helen

My friends Derek, Gerald, and I decided to take a little adventure to Yellow Springs this past Monday. And as you know of Yellow Springs is one of the top places to be and have fun. :D Of course one area that is a must see is Glen Helen I haven't been there prior to the visit with Gerald, and Derek. Enjoy a few of the snapshots we took. :] At least before the rain pelted us xD I decided to take advantage of the day by using Gerald and Derek as my photography models. :] Enjoy.

This is Derek's shadow, and it's kind of an inside story on how Derek is like a child at heart I thought this was a good photograph to take because, in a way it shows a child's shadow reaching for the flowers. :] It kind of reflected how Derek is always childlike in a sense.

I personally loved the waterfall I would have taken more pictures like under it, and such but, I was rather worried I was going to slip and fall, and break my camera possibly.

Reservoir Pictures :D

These pictures were taken at the C.J Brown Reservoir it was quite fun being able to find a lot of little things people usually over look :] If you do visit my website I would appreciate feedback >3< I am always trying to improve my photography, and I am am always opened to new ideas. :D

Tree blossoms it wasn't fun having to try to take pictures in the wind >3< it is very difficult trying to prevent a blurred effect especially when you do not want that type of affect when taking photographs also to keep in mind, you do not want the pictures to pixelate then it will make it more so difficult to get a clear image.

I FOUND THEM!! These are redbuds >3< they primarily are located in the woods from what I am told though the blossoms only last for the first few weeks of spring, and probably with all this wind, and rain is probably going to remove most of the blossoms sadly.

Close up of redbuds they actually look quite dainty if you look at them right, and I will admit it is difficult to get a good image when a tree is very tall, and one is very short. >3< I ought to buy a two-step at least.

Redbud trees, I wish I could have gotten a better photograph because, of what I would to have liked to do would have been actually having all the trees lined up together and then have it so you could look all the way down and see all the redbuds lined up together in a winding path or something. But sadly if I did take that photograph there would have been vehicles, people, and blacktop which would then make the photograph too chaotic or overdone.
 I guess better luck next time, I hope.

Straightaway angle I have been practicing angles so that I can try to figure out different perspectives of looking at people and things alike.

I don't know why but I love how the stairwell was constructed, it was kind of interesting at this angle, I think once I learn photoshop I may try to incorporate this somehow in a piece.
