About Kimmel N'Pics

My photo
Springfield, Ohio, United States
Kimmel N'Pics is a play on words for instance if you have heard of Kibbles N' Bits then you know where the name similarities tie in. But I created this site in order to show my skills in the photography field, and to possible allow people to see what is going on through another's eyes. Such as instead of taking a regular portrait of a person just standing there, show a bit of emotion, a slight gesture, or even a different point of view can do wonders. I hope when one views my photography then maybe their eyes can open up and see more of the world around them and see how beautiful things are and how we must cherish them so. Thank you for visiting my site, and welcome to Kimmel N'Pics.

Over the rainbow!!

I know the pictures are not exactly perfect, but what can you do when you are trying to prevent your camera from getting wet, and still take a decent picture. Still looks lovely though :] I really wished I could have gotten a better angle of it but where I was at it would have been difficult to find a good area because this was taking in our apartment complex's parking lot lol A lot of people were coming out and seeing what I was photographing it was kind of awkward >3<

Taste the rainbow<3 :D

"Hopeful" I know also today's big day is for William, and Kate and I hope that being together their live will be able to be happy together, and live long lives. :] Also to enjoy the time they spend together,  and never to fall out of love with one another.  :]

I know I shouldn't be staring at the sun, but I really wanted to get that kind of twinkle-like effect and it looked kind of day dreamy like, and was intoxicating. :]

Fall wha?

These pictures were taken before winter hit but I did not upload them until today, because I felt better if I filled up the memory card and such before I uploaded them all.

Weeping willow taken at sunset this is near Kenton Ridge high school it was rather interesting seeing the silhouettes of the weeping willow and trees. I am kind of a sucker for weeping willows because I see them as graceful, and fragile. :]
Kenton Ridge/Northridge

Messing with silhouettes again I believe I need to practice more in order to improve on my photographic skills but still it's an interesting way of looking at something and being able to guess what it could possibly be. :]
Kenton Ridge/Northridge

I love this picture the only thing I could wish for is I wish I could edit out the school building, but if I do this it will make it different a little bit but still I will have to learn this someday so but start now :]

Pile of Pinecones! :d

"Between the Leaves and the Trees"

I know this photograph is nothing really to get excited over but I love the colors of the bright reds, and cozy-like oranges :] it almost seems soothing :D

Meet Chelsea :D Animal Crackers

I received a request to photograph one of my friend's wedding so wish me luck on this. XD I am overly excited, and extremely grateful because I will give it my all and give 150% you have my word! :D While I was there, talking with the couple they had an adorable little dog named Chelsea. She is rather adorable, and I hope they will be allowed to take her with them to the wedding because I have a few photo ideas for the dog and them together. I though I would start practicing taking shots that would not be overexposed and that you could tell the detail even though it being of white. Tell me what you think :]

Chelsea munching on animal crackers does that mean she is a carnivore or not? Or if she is becoming a cannibal??
Black and White Effect-Ben and Alisha's

I think in this one she looks a little guilty but in a cute way!! :]
Ben and Alisha's

Sepia effect I think she does like those animal crackers :D
"Nom nom nom"
Ben and Alisha's

I know this one is terribly blurry but it makes you laugh because in a way it looks like she is laughing right back at you or if she is seeing something making her laugh. :]

Wild onion plant :D it looked really interesting being warped and such it kind of reminded of glass blowing techniques and such. :]

A decayed leaf I though it was interesting because of the texture and how it was almost transparent so you could possibly see through the other side of the leaf.

I believe these are called Redbud blossoms although I could be mistaken, but my photography teacher was explaining to me a few days ago how the Redbuds can only last like this for 3 weeks until the following year, so I thought I would take a few pictures for him. I know they are most of the way overexposed, and that they are in some ways blurry, but this was due to the conditions of the weather today. But I promise more pictures to come soon hopefully. :] Weather permitting :D

Redbuds again :] still overexposed but that is one thing I will try my best never to do and that is NEVER edit my photographs unless they are portraits, then I will only try my best to fix up the troubled spots be that acne, but other than that I will not use photoshop or any other editing software because I want someone to be pleased with seeing something natural instead of that being of altered.

Train tracks and bridge.... my friend Gerald was trying to get me to cross it... lol no thank you I think I would fall anyhow being a klutz and all. There were a few people all ready on there anyhow which really did not help when taking pictures.. but, what can you do?

Mallard ducks, both male and female it kind of made me chuckle just now because I was thinking of NCSI because of Ducky or Dr. Mallard. :D lol Maybe they are distant cousins or something :D
St Peter's Organic English Ale! I know Snyder Park is not perfect or anything, we still shouldn't litter so much >3> I actually could use this I had the supplies I could make something mosaic related out of it :] it's rather interesting looking in a way. Although I think I should have removed the price tag but I didn't want to disturb it because it kind of felt like it was supposed to be there, if that makes any sense.

Redbuds once more I believe I will have to start carrying around a stepladder with me or a two step or something to make it easier to get close ups of blossoms, birds, and etc. Well there's another to add to the list of items I need to get >3< why couldn't I get a gene that would make me about four inches taller, if that happened I would be set! Although in a result then I wouldn't be able to take a lot of my pictures from different angles also... hmm... well eh.. I think I will stick with the stepladder idea though it needs to be transportable lol and not weigh so much lol not a pack mule
